Designed to deepen teaching knowledge, this course explores the foundational principles of Yin Yoga, including functional anatomy, the role of connective tissues and fascia, energetic concepts, mindful sequencing, the use of props and modifications, and the art of holding space.
Throughout the training, you will learn how to approach Yin Yoga with curiosity while recognizing that every body is unique and that a pose is not something to perfect, but an experience to explore. Emphasis is placed on functional movement, individual variation, appropriate sensation, and creating practices that are accessible, intentional, and supportive.
Beyond the physical practice, this training explores the quieter dimensions of Yin: breath, awareness, patience, presence, and self-inquiry. You will develop the skills to guide students through thoughtfully sequenced Yin practices while cultivating your own authentic voice as a teacher. This training provides a practical and reflective foundation for integrating Yin into your practice, teaching, and everyday life.
These 25 hrs can be used toward your 300 hr certification with Sweat & Soul School of Yoga or as continuing educations hours 🌟

Teacher Bio
For more than 11 years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching yoga and I still get the chills at some point every class. There is something extraordinary about creating space where people can slow down, get curious, connect to their bodies, and discover that they are capable of far more than they thought.
I’m an alignment fiend, a lifelong student, and a firm believer that we should be practicing yoga for the long haul. My goal is to for you to understand the why behind what you’re teaching, not simply memorize the what, so you can create intelligent, safe, meaningful classes that meet your students where they are.
I’m certified in Power Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Meditation, and Hands-On Assists, among other modalities. While I love the energy and strength of a powerful practice, Yin is also one of my most beloved ways of teaching and experiencing yoga. I’m excited to bring Yin to teachers and help discover the depth, nuance, and beauty of this practice.
Mostly, I want you to leave my training feeling confident enough to teach Yin safely and thoughtfully, with inspiration to make it your own.
